You have probably heard of Silicon Valley before, it is known for its microprocessors and homeless crackheads.
Many people thought this to be a great place to make their fortune.
They would come up with a business idea, go to Silicon Valley, pitch it, and get funding. The Silicon Valley investors had all the money and resources (coke) they needed, so they made some investments.
And in it bit them in the ass countless of times till they eventually stopped giving away their money.
And though their investing habits were akin to a degenerate poker player who goes all in with a 7 and a 2, they were not to blame (they mostly were). It was the people who came up with the idea that forgot to ask themselves, possibly the most important question of their lives.
Who cares
If you have a plan for a new product, service, or business, you should always think about the people first.
Think of a target market and ask yourself, will they care? What problems do they struggle with? And does your product fix that.
Always remember who you are selling to.
Your customers are keeping your business afloat, so you should know them in and out.
Remember this next time you sell your product or make marketing material.
